Dr. S. F. Mustapha is a highly respected medical professional and seasoned orthopaedic surgeon with decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience across West Africa. He is the Founder of JEFIS Specialist Hospital, which was established in 1996 with a clear vision to deliver high-quality, ethical, and patient-centered specialist healthcare.

He commenced his Postgraduate Residency Programme in 1985 at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), where he developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and surgery. In line with his passion for service and regional healthcare development, Dr. Mustapha undertook his National Service from 1987 to 1990 at Dr. Conteh Memorial Hospital, Northern Provincial Headquarters, Sierra Leone, under the Technical Aid Corps (IBB Corps). This experience deepened his commitment to humanitarian service and medical excellence in resource-limited settings.

Between 1990 and 1993, he completed his residency training in General Surgery at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin. His dedication to professional growth and clinical excellence earned him sponsorship for subspecialty training at the National Orthopaedic Hospital from 1994 to 1996, where he specialized in Orthopaedics.

Dr. Mustapha is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) in Orthopaedics, a prestigious recognition that reflects his expertise, professional integrity, and significant contributions to surgical practice within the West African sub-region.
